The L\u2019Association canadienne de droit juif<\/strong> is proud to announce that the Honourable Russell Brown, former Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada, has joined our Board of Directors and will be a Special Advisor to the Litigation Committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Honourable Russell Brown<\/strong><\/a> brings unparalleled expertise and experience to our Association. Currently serving as an arbitrator, mediator, and Associate Counsel at Hunter Litigation Chambers in Vancouver, he is widely recognized for his contributions to the legal profession in Canada and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'honorable Brown a fait partie de la magistrature canadienne pendant plus de dix ans, dont huit ans en tant que juge de la Cour supr\u00eame du Canada, o\u00f9 il a r\u00e9dig\u00e9 plus de 100 jugements en mati\u00e8re de droit commercial, priv\u00e9 et public. Avant sa carri\u00e8re judiciaire, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 professeur et doyen associ\u00e9 (\u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures) de la facult\u00e9 de droit de l'Universit\u00e9 de l'Alberta, o\u00f9 il a \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 l'Institut du droit de la sant\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Outre sa brillante carri\u00e8re judiciaire et universitaire, l'honorable Brown est membre de plusieurs organisations d'arbitrage de premier plan, dont Arbitration Place, le Vancouver International Arbitration Centre et la Western Canadian Commercial Arbitration Society. Il si\u00e8ge \u00e9galement aux conseils d'administration de la Royal BC Museum Foundation, du Salvation Army Advisory Board (Greater Vancouver) et de la Canadian Constitution Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En tant que conseiller sp\u00e9cial du comit\u00e9 des litiges, l'honorable Brown fournira des conseils strat\u00e9giques et un leadership \u00e9clair\u00e9, contribuant \u00e0 fa\u00e7onner les initiatives de l'Association en mati\u00e8re de plaidoyer et de litiges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
